My Cheese affair started in 1985 when I cut my Cheese teeth with the then established London based wholesaler the London Cheese Company. In 1987 I left the business and co-founded what was to turn out to be one of the largest Cheese wholesale businesses in the UK, the Cheese Cellar Company. After 20 years of both organic and acquisitive growth we had created a business to be proud of, experiencing first-hand all that it takes to develop a flourishing food business: T/O(2007) £24m. We successfully sold out in July 2007 to H&B Foods(now known as Harvey Brockless).
